JK Ulangi Sejarah Pilpres 2004

jk2JAKARTA – Joko Widodo (Jokowi)  dan Jusuf Kalla (JK) resmi berpasangan sebagai calon presiden dan calon wakil presiden pada Pemilu Presiden (Pilpres) 9 Juli mendatang.

Keputusan Jokowi untuk memilih berpasangan dengan JK dideklarasikan di  di Gedung Joang Jakarta Senin (19/5/2014).  Pasangan Jokowi-JK diusung koalisi empat partai, yaitu  PDIP, Nasdem, PKB dan Hanura.

Jokowi menyebutkan, dia memilih JK sebagai cawapres sudah melalui banyak perenungan, konsultasi dan pertimbangan dari partai pendukung,  khususnya juga pertimbangan Megawati Seokarnoputri.

“Kita putuskan wakil presiden atau calon wakil presiden yang akan mendampingi saya adalah Bapak Drs. H. Mohamad Jusuf Kalla. Kita yakin, Insya Allah, kami berdua akan membawa gerakan perubahan di negara yang kita cintai ini,” kata Jokowi dengan nada optimis.

Dengan ditetapkannya JK sebagai cawapresnya Jokowi, maka sejarah Pilpres 2004 terulang kembali. Pada waktu itu, JK sebagai kader Partai Golkar memilih untuk berpasangan dengan Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY).

Setelah terpilih sebagai wakil presiden, pada Munas Partai Golkar di Bali pada Deember 2004, Jusuf Kalla terpilih sebagai Ketua Umum partai berlambang pohon beringin tesebut.

Pada Pilpres 2009, JK dengan menggunakan “kendaraan” Partai Golkar maju sebagai calon presiden yang berpasangan dengan cawapres Wiranto. Namun dalam pertarungan untuk memperebutkan kursi orang nomor satu di negeri ini, pasangan JK-Wiranto tidak bisa mengimbangi pasangan SBY-Boediono. (chan)
